Ukrainian-American talks take place in Washington
Ukrainian-American talks took place in Washington chaired by President Victor Yushchenko of Ukraine and President George Bush of the USA. Agenda of the talks included bilateral relations between the countries, cooperation in such fields as trade and economy, energy, non-proliferation, etc. Beside that the two Presidents shared thought with each other on security cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S., fighting terrorism, strengthening global security, Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration prospects. Other participants of the talks from Ukraine were Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko, Defense Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov, NSDC Secretary Raisa Bohatyryova, President’s Secretariat deputy Chief of Staff Andrii Goncharuk. |
