Music recital at the Embassy of Ukraine

On August 28, the International Association for Musically Gifted Children, Inc., under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine, invited the public to enjoy the music recital dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine.

As part of the celebration of this exiting event, young and talented pianist – Eva Nesterenko (age 14), performed a solo piano concert. She is a student of Dr. Bella E. Oster from European Academy of Music and Art, Inc. The program contained famous pieces of Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, etc.

After the performance Embassy diplomats acquainted the audience with the history, traditions, culture, economy and current foreign policy of Ukraine. The following questions and answers highlighted bilateral issues of Ukraine-U.S. co-operation. Besides, the guests had an opportunity to learn about the history of the Embassy Forrest-Marbury building and about the room named after President George Washington.
