President takes part in festive liturgy

President Victor Yushchenko took part in a festive liturgy near the monument to Volodymyr the Great in Kyiv, celebrating 1020th anniversary of Kyivan Rus’ Baptism.

The liturgy was conducted by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I with participation of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexi II, Metropolitan Volodymyr and heads of foreign Orthodox Churches who came to Ukraine on the occasion of the holiday.
