First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine visiting the United States

On July 2, 2008 acting First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Yuriy Kostenko arrived with a working visit in Washington DC.

The key event on his one-day program was the meeting with the U.S. Under-Secretary of State Paula Dobriansky. The two interlocutors discussed a number of issues of Ukrainian-US strategic partnership relations, including co-operation within the framework of international organizations.

Ambassador of Ukraine Oleh Shamshur was present at the meeting.
