President optimistic about GUAM

After the third GUAM Summit President Yushchenko took part in a joint press conference of the participants of the event.

In his speech President Yushchenko stressed that today's talks proven that GUAM is becoming further more successfull. According to him with every Summit the organization gains new partners and the questions discussed today also ecxeeded the framework of GUAM itself.

Speaking about specific results of GUAM cooperation President named Euro-Asian oil-transport corridor, which is close to be implemented. He also reminded of Kerch-Poti-Batumi ferry-boat rout between Ukraine and Georgia, which is currently on the final stage of preparation.

“All these and the other agreements show that … we have a clear plan of what we want to offer to our states, our nations and to the whole community.”, - said Victor Yushchenko.
