Telephone talk between Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick held

Today a telephone talk between Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and the President of the World Bank Group Robert B. Zoellick took place.

World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick hailed Ukraine with accedence to the World Trade Organization and positively assessed activity of Ukraine’s Government in fight against corruption and inflation.

“You are following the right way,” Robert B. Zoellick admitted. “It is significant to stick to this course of overcoming inflation and corruption fight further.”

Prime Minister of Ukraine expressed her gratitude for the high evaluation of the Govt’s activity and, in her turn, stressed on the importance of fruitful cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the World Bank.
