In compliance with the Foreign Ministry’s Decree №222, 13/12/2005 the consular fee is due to be paid BEFORE FULFILLING ANY CONSULAR OPERATION.
With the object of making easier the procedure of paying for consular operations Ukrainian Embassy opened an account that can be used by you.

Ukraine sets visa free regime for citizens of the United States of America starting 1st July 2005, citizens of Canada and Japan starting 1st August 2005, citizens of the EuropeanUnion countries (citizens of Republic of Bulgaria and Romania starting 1st January 2008), SwissConfederation and Liechtenstein starting 1st September 2005, citizens of the Principalityof Andorra, Vatican (The Holly See), the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of Iceland, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of San Marino starting 1st January 2006.
This regulation establishes visa-free regime of entry to Ukraine and transit through it territory for USA, Canada, Japan, EU (citizens of Republic of Bulgaria and Romania starting 1st January 2008), Swiss,Liechtenstein, Andorra, Vatican, Monaco, Iceland, Norway, San Marino passport holders who may stay in Ukraine up to 90 days.
You may apply for visa to Ukraine at the Consular/Visa Section of the Embassy of Ukraine in London or at the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edinburgh.
For all types of visas (business, private, tourist, transit etc.) the following documents should be submitted:
completed visa application form for each applicant holding a separate passport or being included in the joint passport (application form in PDF format); fully valid passport/travel document (C.I.D.) (photocopies are not acceptable); two recent passport sized photographs; invitation (depending on the purpose of journey to Ukraine the invitation should be obtained); two separate postal orders (or company cheques) covering the handling charge and visa fee; contact telephone numbers of all applicants (work, home or mobile).

Fully passport/travel document (C.I.D.) should be valid for at least one month after the intended date of departure from Ukraine. Children under 16 years old who are included in the passport of their parent/guardian are not required to fill out a separate form.
The documents could be submitted/collected personally, by post or by courier. Recorded/Registered postal services are strongly recommended as the Consular/Visa Section is not responsible for loss of passports. By using postal delivery services like DHL UK, FedEX Express, TNT UK etc. please be advised to attach the return shipment form with the shipper's account number (reference) and also the other required documents for return shipment order.
Should an applicant fail to submit the above-mentioned papers, applications will not be accepted for consideration and will be immediately (on the date of application) forwarded to the person concerned.
If applying by post the necessary documents for visa should be forwarded with the proper payment and a self-addressed pre-paid envelope.
Info for couriers: All couriers should be instructed to bring documents to the Consular/Visa Section from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Mondays - Fridays only and wait for the receipt which then should be delivered/reported to sender. The receipt contains the reference number, the date of collection and the fee charged.
Once the visa has been issued, the passport with visa could be collected personally or by a courier. In all cases the receipt should be presented!
The period of visa processing for nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Slovak Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey, United States of America:
- 3 working days if applying in person or by courier, - 10 working days if applying by post (mailing time is not included in the visa processing time).
The period of visa processing for nationals of all other countries - 10 working days.

THE CONSULAR/VISA SECTION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS AND WHEN NECESSARY. ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION.
