Ceremony in London to mark 17^th Anniversary of Ukraine's Independence

The ceremonial meeting with wreath laying to the monument of Volodymyr the Great took place in the center of London on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine, Ukrainian church and Diaspora in the United Kingdom. In their speeches participants of the ceremony marked the progress and achievements that Ukraine has made during 17 years of its Independence. A special emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing democratic transformations in Ukraine.
