In compliance with the Foreign Ministry’s Decree №222, 13/12/2005 the consular fee is due to be paid BEFORE FULFILLING ANY CONSULAR OPERATION

With the object of making easier the procedure of paying for consular operations, the Embassy of Ukraine set an account that can be used by you only after having been given the reference number at the Consular Desk.

Only under the Consulate consideration the visa can be issued the same day or the next working day after the documents submission.  In this case, a “DOUBLE Payment” is to be charged for an “URGENT Service”.

 

APPLYING FOR VISA

Ukraine has set visa free regime for citizens of the United States of America since the 1st July 2005, citizens of Canada and Japan since 1st August 2005, citizens of the European Union countries (citizens of Republic of Bulgaria and Romania starting with the 1st January 2008), Swiss Confederation and Liechtenstein since the 1st September 2005, citizens of the Principality of Andorra, Vatican (The Holly See), the Principality of Monaco, the Republic of Iceland, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of San Marino since the 1st January 2006, the Republic of Korea.

This regulation establishes visa-free regime of entry Ukraine and transit through its territory for the USA, Canada, Japan, EU (citizens of Republic of Bulgaria and Romania starting with the 1st January 2008), Swiss, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Vatican, Monaco, Iceland, Norway, San Marino,
the Republic of Korea passport holders who may stay in Ukraine up to 90 days within 180 days.




You can apply for visa to Ukraine at the
Consular/Visa Section of the Embassy of Ukraine in London as well as at the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edinburgh.

To get visas
(business, private, tourist, transit etc.) the following documents should be submitted:

completed visa application form for each applicant holding a separate passport or being included in the joint passport (
application form
in PDF format);
fully valid passport/travel document (C.I.D.) (photocopies are not acceptable);
two recent passport sized photographs;
invitation
(depending on the purpose of journey to Ukraine the invitation should be obtained);
contact telephone numbers of all applicants (work, home or mobile)

a bank statement (if required).

Fully passport/travel document (C.I.D.) should be valid for at least one month after the intended date of departure from Ukraine.


The documents should be submitted personally/collected personally or by courier. Recorded/Registered postal services are strongly recommended as the Consular/Visa Section is not responsible for loss of passports.

Should an applicant fail to submit the above-mentioned papers, applications will not be accepted for consideration and will be immediately (on the date of application) forwarded to the person concerned.


Info for couriers: All couriers should be instructed to bring documents to the Consular/Visa Section from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Mondays - Fridays only and wait for the receipt which then should be delivered/reported to sender. The receipt contains the reference number, the date of collection.


The period of visa processing for nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Republic of Turkey, the USA:
- 3 working days

THE CONSULAR/VISA SECTION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WHEN NECESSARY. ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION.

*  Іноземці українського походження можуть подавати документи для оформлення багаторазової приватної візи терміном до 5 років. Даний тип візи вимагає особистої співбесіди з консул
ом.

** A photocopy of the visa of the country of destination or the travel tickets to non-visa countries should be enclosed. A transit visa is valid for 5 days in respect of each entry.

Visas granted by the Consular/Visa Section cannot be extended. If for some reasons a holder of a visa was unable to travel within the period of its validity,
an applicant should apply for a new visa to the Visa Section and pay additional consular fee.
