On 9 May 2012, diplomats of the Embassy, headed by Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia Mykola Kyrychenko, took part in the traditional commemoration ceremony of the 67th anniversary of WWII victory, which took place at Murska Sobota. Flowers and wreaths were laid to the monument to Soviet soldiers and graves of Soviet and Slovenian military men who died while liberating Slovenia.

From 27 November 2011 the citizens of Ukraine are allowed to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina without entry visa and stay there up to 30 days (since 2 months period from the last entry) on the basis of the valid passport of the Ukrainian nationals for traveling abroad.
