Ukraine exports 10 million tons of grain Since the beginning of the new marketing year, Ukraine has already exported 10 million tons of grain crops, Agricultural Policy Minister Yuriy Melnyk told a news briefing in Kiev. The minister specified that currently one ton of grain crops in the world markets is sold at USD 195 - 197. Melnyk predicted that grain price will grow in February - March. According to expert estimates, Ukraine's export potential this season will be 23 million tons of grain crops, including 12 million tons of wheat, 6 million tons of barley, and 4.5 million tons of corn. Ukraine harvested a record grain crop of over 50 million tons this year. |
