The issue concerns the video about the military conflict in Georgia, which had to be shown with the participation of the Russian ambassador and embassy diplomats at Hyatt Hotel in Kyiv. However, the hotel's administration has banned the presentation of the forged video.

    The video entitled "The Art of Betrayal," according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, has been forged by Russian special agencies. Cynical statements in the video are imposed on the audience that Ukrainian citizens had allegedly participated in the Russian-Georgian conflict and that Ukraine had allegedly supplied weapons to Georgia.

    The Russian envoy was told that such steps taken by Russian are unacceptable and are conflicting with the status of the Russian embassy and generally recognized international standards.

    As UKRINFORM reported, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) investigated that the video had been forged on the basis of misleading allegations by the Russian Internet publication www.russia.ru and that Russian law enforcement and special agencies are involved in the creation of this video.
