On the 28 of July the meeting was held in the Embassy dedicated to the project Improving the quality of life and standards of services for children with disabilities through capacity building and strengthening of civil society. This project is being realized in Ukraine from 2008 till 2011 within the framework of the Dutch government programme MATRA.

The adoption of a new constitution of Ukraine on the 28th of June 1996 became an important event in the life of the people of Ukraine.

On the 18 of May the Ambassador of Ukraine attended the opening of the art exhibition “Bridges and other relationships”.

On the 13-15 of May 2010 the celebration of the cultural event “Ukrainian women in Art and Culture” took place in The Hague. It was aimed at bringing the accomplishments of the Ukrainian women in literature, art and music closer to the Dutch public. The event was organized by Matrix Orange Foundation with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

On the 9th of May the Ambassador of Ukraine and the representatives of the Embassy took part in the ceremony of wreath-laying dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
