27.0.2007 The initiative group of the project - Run 4 Romny visited the Embassy in order to present the final stage of the project. The symbolic cheque  was given to the Ambassador O.M.Kupchyshyn. 40 runners from Vlaardingen started their way at afternoon 27 March. Run 4 Romny was a race, run by civil servants of the municipality of Vlaardingen, to collect money for a rehabilitation centre for disabled children in the city of Romny in Ukraine. The project was supported by the employees of the municipality of Vlaardingen, family members, business sponsors and mass-media. On the 20-th of April the final stage of the project was celebrated at Vlaardingen with the national music of the Ukrainian ansamble "Uzory".

            The Embassy supports and appreciates the activity of all the Run 4 Romny participants.

Run 4 Romny
