The delegation of Ukraine headed by Minister of Defence Yurii Yekhanurov took part at the meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission as well as at the meeting of Alliance’s Defence Ministers with non-NATO KFOR contributing nations

The official delegation of Ukraine comprised First Deputy of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Stepan Gavrysh as well as First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Volodymyr Khandogiy.

During the NUC meeting defence ministers exchanged of views on a current stance and further prospects of deepening co-operation focused on Ukraine's progress and efforts in implementing defence and security sectors.

Underlining high-level partnership allies reaffirmed their support for implementation of Euro-Atlantic course of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s participation in NATO-led missions and operations, its further development were reviewed in details.

Alliance also informed Ukraine that the North Atlantic Council had made decision to accept Ukraine's offer to contribute to the NATO Response Force.

NUC discussed Ukraine’s willingness to join the United Kingdom/France initiative to support helicopter capability.

Prior to the NUC meeting the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Air Situation Data Exchange between NATO and Ukraine took place.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine took part in the meeting of allies Defence Ministers with non-NATO KFOR contributing nations.

In the framework of the visit to NATO HQ the Minister for Defence of Ukraine held a range of bilateral meeting to discuss further development of military co-operation, in particular with ministers of defence of Denmark, Estonia, Canada and Germany
