The Ukraine-NATO Inter-Parliamentary Council, co-chaired by Borys Tarasuik of Ukraine and Jane Cordy of Canada and composed of senior legislators from Ukraine and NATO member countries, took place at NATO HQ.

Open exchange of views on prospects of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine in light of the NATO Bucharest Summit outcome was made.

Ukraine’s and NATO-member countries’ parliamentarians discussed current issues of Ukraine-NATO political dialogue, security and defence sectors reforms, participation of Ukraine in current NATO-led operations and missions, public information on Euro-Atlantic integration as well.

Members of the Parliament of Ukraine took part in discussions with leadership of national delegations to NATO HQ, in particular of Lithuania, Poland, Italy, the Great Britain and the USA as well as senior NATO officials, including Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Jean-François Bureau.
