On April 14-15, 2008, the non-governmental delegation of Ukraine paid a visit to NATO HQ and Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Europe (SHAPE).

Representatives of non-governmental organizations and media of Ukraine received briefings and took part in discussions on main topics of current NATO agenda. In particular, on the repercussions of the Bucharest Summit, prospects of Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine, NATO-Russia relations, ect. In the framework of the visit members of Ukrainian delegation took part in round-table with representatives of NATO nations, namely Latvia, France and the USA. Discussions with the Ambassador of Slovakia to NATO and the leadership of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO were held as well.

During the visit to the venue of SHAPE (Mons, Belgium) delegation of Ukraine had a look at the Headquarter of Allied Command Operations and took part in discussions with representatives of the Partnership Cooperation Cell
