Question: How can you comment the incident with desecration of the memorial complex in Babyn Yar which occurred on July 16, 2006?
Answer: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine resolutely condemns the desecration of the memorial complex in Babyn Yar which took place on July 16, 2006.
The government of Ukraine will make every effort in order to ascertain all circumstances of this shameful act.
The correspondent position of our country remains immutable: in Ukraine, there is no place for anti-Semitism and xenophobia. Ukraine was and remains a country whose citizens respect existent international peace with due responsibility and keep memory of the dead in the World War II piously.
