28 July 1951in Lviv, Ukraine

 

Education:

1974 – graduated from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University, faculty of foreign languages.

1989 – had a course of raising the level of skills at the MFA Diplomatic Academy.

 

Professional activity:

1986 – 1992 - First secretary, Counselor of the Division of Information of the MFA of Ukraine

 

1992 – 1996 – Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada

 

1997 – 2001 – Head of the Department for Political Analysis and Coordination of the MFA of Ukraine

 

2001 – 2005 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Arab Republic of Egypt, to the Republic of Kenya, to the Republic of Sudan (with the residence in Cairo)

 

August – December 2005 – Director-General of the Directorate General for Political Affaires of the MFA of Ukraine

 

Since December 2005 – Deputy Minister for Foreign Affaires of Ukraine

 

Diplomatic Rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

 

Candidate of the political science.

 

Foreign languages: French, English, Polish.

 

Married and has three children.
