MR. KOSTYANTYN YELISEYEV – Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

 

Date and place of birth: 14 September 1970, in Krasnoarmiysk, Donetsk Region

 

Higher education; in 1992, graduated from the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University; degree in international relations, assistant and French translator

 

1987 – 1992 – student of the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations of  Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University

 

March 1992 – January 1993 – Attaché of the Collegium Group of the MFA of Ukraine

 

January 1993 – August 1993 – Attaché, Third Secretary of the Directorate General for International Organizations of the MFA of Ukraine

 

August 1993 – June 1994 – Third Secretary of the Department for the UN political issues and special bodies of the Directorate General for International Organizations of the MFA of Ukraine

 

June 1994 – March 1999 – Second, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of France

 

March 1999 – November 2000 – Senior Counselor of the Department for Bilateral Cooperation of the Directorate General for Foreign Policy of the Administration of the President of Ukraine

 

November 2000 – January 2004 – Director of the Cabinet of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

 

January 2004 – October 2007 – Deputy Representative of Ukraine to the European Union (European Communities) in Brussels, Belgium

 

October 2007 – present time – appointed Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №740)

 

November 2007 – appointed Head of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations with the EU on the new enhanced agreement (Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 30 November №1172)

 

Diplomatic rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
