On June 26, 2008, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lebanon Mr. Borys Zaharchuk met with the Lebanese businessmen who are members of the Ukrainian – Lebanese Business Council.

In the course of the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects of development of the Ukrainian – Lebanese commercial-economic relations.

The Lebanese businessmen were interested in export capabilities of Ukraine in metal works, agricultural products and biofuel. The Ambassador of Ukraine suggested the Lebanese party taking part in investments in construction of objects associated with holding of Euro-2012 in Ukraine and health improvement institutions in Crimea and Transcarpathia.
