Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on dissemination of the address
from the participants of the so called All-Crimean Meeting by the Permanent Representation of the Russian Federation to OSCE
Regardless of the high-flown declarations of the leadership of the Russian Federation on noninterference in internal affairs of Ukraine, the Russian party could not help resisting the temptation to play the Crimean card nevertheless.
On September 29, 2008, the Permanent Representation of the Russian Federation to OSCE disseminated the address from the participants of the so called All-Crimean Meeting on Gross Violation of the Basic Constitutional Powers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the Ruling Regime of Ukraine.
There is no need to stop at the obviously provocative motives of such address inspired by the anti-Ukrainian forces which in every way possible try to demonstrate their adherence to an external client.
It is obvious that the fifth column representatives did not stop at the attempts to incite the community against policy of the democratically elected leadership of Ukraine and resorted to the attempts to slander it before the world community.
For the purpose of destabilization of the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, methods and dirty technologies were used which were tested in 90’s of the last century and aimed at formation of separatist units on the terrains of the ex-USSR.
The actions of the Russian diplomatic mission to Vienna approved by the Kremlin do not correspond to the standards of diplomatic ethics and international communication.
Such actions may be regarded only as open and rough interference in internal affairs of our state and discordant from interests of the peoples of Ukraine and Russia.
