Comment of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

Ukraine is deeply anxious about preservation of instability and tension in Georgia. Special anxiety is provoked by numerous instances of attacks on mass media representatives and marauding acts committed by servicemen and illegal military units. Unfortunately, destruction of transport and economic infrastructure continues in the territory of Georgia.

We urge all the parties to take measures in order to ensure so called humanitarian corridors for rendering the respective assistance for those in need.
