INVITATIONS
For Business Visa (Single/Double entry)
Nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Slovak Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey and the United States of America who apply for business, private, scientific, sport and cultural visas do not require a letter of invitation from Ukraine.
Nationals of all other countries require invitation to travel to Ukraine. Each application should be accompanied by a letter of invitation from the relevant Ukrainian company or organization (a faxed copy may be accepted). The invitation should state full name of the applicant and the purpose of journey.
In respect of companies which have already opened their representative office or have established joint ventures in Ukraine, visas may be issued on the basis of the letter, issued by such a company. The letter should state the nature and purpose of business conducted in Ukraine, contain the details of the Ukrainian business partner involved, quote the number of the registration certificate issued by the relevant Ukrainian authorities.
For Business Visa (Multiple Entry)
Nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Slovak Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey and the United States of America who apply for business, private, scientific, sport and cultural visas do not require a letter of invitation from Ukraine.
Nationals of all other countries require invitation to travel to
Ukraine. It is obligatory to present a detailed letter of invitation
from
Ukraine together with a detailed letter from the applicant's employer.
Both letters should state the nature and purpose of business
conducted in Ukraine and explain the necessity of issuing a multiple
entry visa. Copy of a registration certificate of a company or
representative office in Ukraine should be enclosed. Visa may be valid
for up to one year.
Technical assistance applications should be accompanied by a letter from the Ministry of Economy, which is responsible for registration of all technical assistance projects.
For Private Visa (Single/Double/Multiple Entry)
Nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Slovak Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey and the United States of America who apply for business, private, scientific, sport and cultural visas do not require a letter of invitation from Ukraine.
Nationals of all other countries require invitation to travel to Ukraine. Each application should be accompanied by an original letter of invitation issued by the Passport and Immigration Department of a local Police Station in Ukraine.
For Tourist Visa (Single/Double Entry)
Nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Swiss Confederation and United States of America who apply for the tourist visa can present a round trip ticket by any Ukrainian airline company as a confirmation of the tourist purpose of their visit to Ukraine.
Each application should be accompanied by the tourist voucher with a confirmation of hotel booking received from a hotel in Ukraine. The confirmation letter should be in proper form, with an authorization signature and stamp, includes full name of the person and the booking period (faxed copy may be accepted).
For Permanent Residence (Single Entry)
Each application should be accompanied by original Permission for Permanent Residence in Ukraine, issued by a local governmental executive body.
For Employment Visa (Single Entry)
Each application should be accompanied by the Work Permit, issued by the Ministry of Employment of Ukraine.
For Student Visa (Single Entry)
Each application should be accompanied by the original of letter of invitation from the University/College or by a letter from the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
For Representative of Religious Mission Visa (Single/Double/Multiple Entry)
Each application should be accompanied by a letter of invitation from a
Ukrainian religious organization authorized by
the State Committee of Religions of Ukraine.
For Humanitarian Aid Visa (Single/Double/Multiple Entry)
Each application should be accompanied by a letter of invitation from the organization which is the recipient of the humanitarian aid and a letter of support from the Commission for Delivery and Distribution of Humanitarian Aid which is a special department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (a faxed copy may be accepted).
