Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko has requested the president to discharge Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko. This was disclosed by her after she had collected the “2007 Personality” award by the “Korrespondent” magazine. Tymoshenko said that as many as two parliamentary factions will support distrust to Oleksandr Medvedko. Notably, earlier, Oleksandr Medvedko said he won't accept resignation. According to him, the president hasn't put his resignation into a question, yet. |
